ENTERSTATE is a video-based project reflecting on encounters with the suffocating vacancy of in-between spaces. The contemporary body is caught in the midst of a dizzying carousel of sensory input, it is a force in constant motion, with memory resembling a popup advertisement for a reality out of reach.

Highways, dirt roads, fields, and the passing places of presence and absence, situated between the Real and the Imaginary. Places of abandon, where time stands still as reality unravels somewhere else, devoid of embodiment yet imbued with its traces. These spaces serve as a point of origin for imagining a new reality that emerges outside the grip of accelerated production.

Ultimately, ENTERSTATE considers the possibility of finding poetic value in the mundane in order to imagine a path towards a different status quo.
