Historically, reliquaries hold importance because they provide the only physical link to a (holy) person after their death. In this case, a reliquary is a reflective device, a connection to the physical body, a symbolic representation of how the self is obscured through acceleration of technology.

Through subversion of form, the work reflects on our relationship with self identity veiled by the unavoidable interaction with the digital sphere.
